Located on 5 acres in the heart of the countryside yet minutes from downtown Nanaimo, this paradise is an oasis for guests to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. Maximum of 2 pets welcome, unless prior approval arranged. Pets must not be left unattended.
Marshmeadow Guesthouse is beautifully appointed and self-catered for long stays and comes complete with a full kitchen; microwave, drip coffeemaker, full size fridge and stove, washer/dryer, WIFI, cable TV in the sitting room, and a comfortable queen-sized bed. It has an studio-style open floor plan with French doors that open up to a private deck that overlooks the property, plus clean, bright, screened windows with blinds and electric heat.
BEAUTIFUL & QUIET
Even prettier than in the photos, this is a lovely cottage on a farm, with friendly horses and a dog, serene views, and friendly low-key hosts. The cottage itself is better supplied than usual, with several seating areas (as well as porch facing horse corral) and high quality pots and dishes. Wonderful decor. Very well set up for a longer stay. Pubs and pleasant neighborhoods nearby.
What an incredible stay. The cottage was so cute and comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. Appreciated the fluffy bathrobes too. Wanda made us feel right at home. The grounds were beautiful. So nice that Dusty stopped by everyday to make sure everything was ok. Enjoyed the deck in the morning. Amazing place.
We really enjoyed our stay! Wanda is very friendly, personable and welcoming! Her cabin is beautiful, quaint, comfortable and clean. The property is beautiful, well maintained and an oasis. Thank you! We will definitely stay again.
What can I say. Best place we have stayed yet. Location was amazing. Wanda was fantastic. Our 12 week puppy had so much fun playing around the huge property. They even had a gated patio. The two dogs Dusty and Sky were super sweet! Our pup was fascinated with the horse names Hannah. The cottage had everything we needed and we even got to pick some blueberries raspberries and blackberries right there for a morning snack! Wanda let us check in early as last guests left earlier than expected. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and 100% recommended!
This was my second stay at Wanda’s air bnb and it definitely won’t be my last! Wanda is an amazing host and she and her lovely dog, Dusty, made me and my dog feel right at home.
This place is perfect if you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful, comfortable and welcoming space. It has everything you could need and is close to many great spots to enjoy the ocean, hikes and the Crow and Gate pub! Wanda’s horse Hannah is just an added bonus as you can sit on the porch, enjoy a nice glass of wine and watch Hannah grazing in the meadow. The only downfall about this place is that it’s so great that it makes it hard to leave! Thank you Wanda and Dusty for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing!
