A Country Retreat

for a weekend or for a while…

Welcome to Marshmeadow Farm Bed and Breakfast and Guesthouse.

Located on 5 acres in the heart of the countryside yet minutes from downtown Nanaimo, this paradise is an oasis for guests to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. Pets are welcome.

Marshmeadow Farm Bed & Breakfast is your own private retreat! Tucked away under the towering conifers that ring the property, you can come and go as you please, or just relax. There is a cosy kitchen for you to enjoy the morning sun and your delicious breakfast will be delivered right to your door.

The Bed & Breakfast is appointed with all the possible amenities to make your stay comfortable and fun. Queen bed, TV, VCR, 5 CD stereo and all the privacy you want. What better way to unwind then with a long, slow soak in the slipper tub. Large, fluffy towels and lots of hot water are all you need, to have all that everyday stress just melt away (and a little sherry helps too!)

Marshmeadow Guesthouse is beautifully appointed and self-catered for long stays and comes complete with a full kitchen; microwave, drip coffeemaker, full size fridge and stove, cable TV in the sitting room, and a comfortable queen-sized bed. It has an studio-style open floor plan with French doors that open up to a private deck that overlooks the property, plus clean, bright, screened windows with blinds, electric heat and cooking.

We started out being offered a grubby – no pets motel and wound up here in paradise being looked after by angels Wanda and Dave while Kitty took care of Max! Thank you so much. Max insists we come back. Donna and Chuck, Edmonton

Wow! How did I stumble on this place?! What did I do to deserve such a “piece of heaven?” As others have put it. Thank you so much. Saskia has never had this much fun away from home 0 and o the wonderful baths I’ve had! I will be back & tell everyone about your wonderful haven. Missi & Saska, LA

Wanda & Dave, for some place we just happened to come upon, we couldn’t have done better – just perfect. We wish you many, many visitors and hope they all find this place as ‘perfect’ as we did. Maureen & Bob, Chester, UK

What attention to detail! From the flowers, chocolates & sherry to welcome us, to the delicious breakfasts served on Royal Albert tableware & fresh white table linen. What a pleasure to take a leisurely breakfast & watch the birds eating their breakfasts at the bird feeder; the horse looking over the fence hopefully & the dog curled up in the early morning sunshine.

Wanda & Dave, we consider ourselves well & truly spoiled and we loved every moment. Thanks for making our stay special.
